I have a love for both children and academics. I believe that all children can succeed if they are introduced to early learning. All children should be provided with early education to enhance their cognitive, academic, social, and emotional skills. Early childhood success proves to be pivotal in today's society. I have over 10 years of experience working with children from 0-17 years of age. I have facilitated Child Study Team functions, created and modified discipline procedures in family homes, interacted daily with parents for various educational and behavioral purposes, engaged in verbal correspondence with teachers, parents, and students, developed and modified strategies for exceptional and at-risk students, and empowered students to work in a Responsive Classroom model. The Tree of Life Family Day Care knows that healthy brain development is the key to providing early learners with the foundation for future success in school, life, family, and their community.
